The Head of Community Specialisms Engagement is Hayley Duffy.

Hayley envisages DCC to be the flagship of community engagement. Her team will provide services and a varied menu of activities to engage a range of community groups and individuals, which in turn will allow all concerned to continue to lead healthier, active lifestyles and lifelong learning pathways.

Hayley has previously taught at a number of local Tameside schools, including Egerton Park Arts College and Two  Trees Sports College, where she has taught a range of subjects from A level Psychology to Art and Drama.  Her main subject is PE. Hayley has a First Class degree in Sport Psychology and a PGCE in Secondary PE from Brunel University.

In her spare time, Hayley is a keen horse rider, owning two Arabs. This, together with her young son, takes up most of her time, although she does also love attending spinning classes, swimming and aerobics. If there's any time left in the week, she also enjoys listening to music and shopping on the internet!
